Mt Tinbeerwah Lookout sunset walk

Perched on the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Mt Tinbeerwah Lookout is a 20-minute scenic drive from Coco Bay Resort and is a 265-metre-high volcanic plug with arguably some of the most spectacular views and one of Noosa’s best kept secrets.

We recommend arriving at sunrise or sunset to experience a magical destination. It is just gorgeous and the moments when the bright hues paint the sky only enhances the already breathtaking views.

From the carpark wander the easy one-kilometre track, alongside large granite boulders to reach the fire tower for spectacular 360-degree views.

Look toward the east for views over the waters of sparkling Laguna Bay, to the west is Lake McDonald and Noosa Hinterland, look to the north to spot a collection of lakes and the winding Noosa River and Mt Coolum is visible to the south.

Toilet facilities are available in the bitumen car park.

Explore craft beers and distilleries

A self-guided tour of Noosa’s breweries and distilleries is an absolute must-do. Explore the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and Noosa region to discover award winning brews and craft distilleries.

Quench your thirst and discover some of our favourites: Heads of Noosa Brewery, Land & Sea Brewery, Seabourne Distillery, Boiling Pot Brewing, Copper Head Brewery and Pomona Distilling Co.

Sample award winning brews and gins, join a brewery tour to chat with the makers and learn about the brewing process.

Taprooms will tempt you with exceptional and extensive choices from the best locally-sourced seasonal produce for mouth-watering options, including vegetarian and vegan. Wash it all down with a sample of refreshing lagers on their tasting paddle.

Take a dip in Noosa National Park’s Little Cove, Tea Tree Bay and discover the Noosa Fairy Pools

Little Cove, located 5 minutes along a beautifully built boardwalk that winds its way under eucalyptus trees, is a little gem that is popular with both locals and visitors. It is a 100-metre sandy beach surrounded by the greenery of Noosa National Park with clear, calm water to entice you.

Take a breath of pure sea air and enjoy spectacular ocean views along Noosa National Park’s Coastal Walk. Wind your way through the park’s trails set amongst scenic rainforest and open eucalypts to discover Tea Tree Bay, Granite Bay and Alexandria Bays.

After only a 20-minute walk along the Coastal Walk you will encounter Tea Tree Bay. Just like most of these sandy stretches, it is unpatrolled, remote and can be unsafe for swimming. Tea Tree Bay is a stunning cove surrounded by shady pandanus trees, large flat rocks and golden sand.

Set between the stunning Granite Bay boulders and Hells Gate are the sparkling blue Fairy Pools. These unpatrolled rock pools can be unpredictable with tides and swells, so be cautious when swimming.

For the adventurous, book into an Equathon Horse Riding Adventure to enjoy the thrill of a private beach ride on horseback. Tours depart from Teewah Beach and accommodate riders of all skill levels.

Hastings Street

A magical experience, unique to Noosa, is iconic Hastings Street. Wander the fashion precinct under trees lit up by hundreds of fairy lights to soak up the warm and festive atmosphere.

Hastings Street is packed with culinary experiences that will make your holiday one to remember.
